I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
